Outside classroom decking area complete roof and bespoke seating around the existing cherry tree. Great outdoor learning area built on treated timber and covered with anti-slip decking.

This project was awarded to us on based on our ongoing working relationship with the school and previous projects.

We are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to complete this wonderful outdoor learning facility for children and teachers to enjoy for many years to come.

The structure is built on a sturdy 6×2 tanalised treated timber frame with solid 4×4 posts. We then built a seating framework to specific heights based on an existing school chair. The whole framework was then treated again with a wood preserve. We then installed softwood timber decking on the seating area and anti-slip decking on the floor area for the safety of all users. We then built a 16mm supported polycarbonate roof system around the large cherry tree in the centre to create a dry area to protect teachers and pupils alike from the rain.

The school were thrilled with the outcome and have since recommended us to other schools for similar projects.
